Namma Yatri, India's largest community-driven ride-hailing platform, is seeking a Zonal Manager to own and scale operations across Bengaluru. The company operates a zero-commission model with 6+ lakh drivers and 1.3+ crore customers, recently launching Namma Transit—a multimodal mobility integration feature.
In this role, you will have end-to-end city-level P&L ownership and drive overall growth across supply, demand, customer experience, brand visibility, government partnerships, and cost optimization. You will build and lead a high-performing city team, set clear goals, and deliver against targets.
Key responsibilities include: owning city-level business performance and profitability; building and leading the city team; developing and executing long-term growth strategy; expanding driver supply and customer base; ensuring strong retention; building government and regulatory relationships; representing Namma Yatri in stakeholder forums; delivering best-in-class driver and rider experience; resolving escalated concerns; leading branding and marketing initiatives; collaborating cross-functionally with central teams; providing market intelligence; leading expansion into new parts of Karnataka; and managing the Airport Special Zone for supply and demand generation.
You will be measured on city growth (total rides, conversion, retention), financials (P&L, cost optimization, revenue), supply health (active drivers, availability, acceptance rate), customer experience (ratings, NPS, resolution time), brand presence, and team performance.
Required: up to 3 years in Operations or Growth roles (Mobility, E-commerce, Logistics, or Digital-first businesses preferred); proficiency in English and Kannada; MBA (any specialization); strong P&L management and business acumen; strategic thinking with execution capability; excellent people and stakeholder management; strong negotiation and communication skills; data-driven, analytical problem-solving mindset; and entrepreneurial drive to thrive in ambiguity.
Good to have: prior leadership experience in mobility, logistics, e-commerce, or govtech; proven track record managing large teams and city-level P&L; experience in government liaison, regulatory compliance, or community engagement.
