Charles IT is seeking a Virtual Client Information Officer (vCIO) to serve as a strategic advisor and primary liaison for assigned clients. This role bridges technical and business objectives, requiring someone who can communicate effectively with C-suite stakeholders and technical teams alike. Key responsibilities include acting as a strategic technology advisor aligned with client business goals, delivering executive-level insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, and ensuring client environments remain secure, scalable, and optimized for performance. You will develop IT roadmaps, lead business reviews, manage budgets, and maintain compliance standards. Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience in IT consulting, account management, or technical leadership, ideally within the MSP (Managed Service Provider) space. You must demonstrate proven success in strategic IT planning, budgeting, and engaging with C-suite stakeholders, along with strong business acumen to align technology with business strategy. Industry certifications such as MCSA, VCP, or CCNA are preferred. Technical proficiency with ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, Office 365, and advanced Mac OS support is preferred. Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and follow-through abilities are essential in this fast-paced, collaborative environment. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with minimal supervision. The expected schedule is approximately 47 hours per week, including occasional evening client dinners and events. Candidates must pass a background check and hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
