Rapyd is a global fintech platform unifying payments, payouts, and financial services across 150+ countries. As Director of Product Engineering, you will lead a group of 10–15 senior Domain Owners and Team Leads, blending product thinking with hands-on engineering excellence.
You will own what gets built, how well it's built, and the commercial impact on the business. Your responsibilities include:
• Lead multiple cross-functional teams of senior engineers and product leaders, setting technical and product direction across the organization.
• Drive spec-driven, AI-augmented delivery to ensure clear, testable requirements before engineering begins, reducing rework and accelerating time-to-market.
• Maintain high technical credibility to review architecture, unblock critical decisions, and bridge communication between technical teams and commercial stakeholders (sales, finance, operations).
• Hire, coach, and retain top senior Domain Owners and Team Leads, establishing clear performance expectations and creating pathways for career growth and advancement.
• Set the bar, direction, and pace for all teams, ensuring execution excellence and alignment with company strategy.
