Runway is seeking a YouTube Creator & Educator to build and own their YouTube channel from the ground up. You'll be the on-screen talent, filmmaker, and editor teaching creators, advertisers, and storytellers how to use generative AI tools for real production work—not generic talking-head content.
You will own the complete production cycle: strategy, filming, editing, motion graphics, and publishing. Your content will demonstrate real outcomes—polished product ads, short films on lean budgets, VFX shots—teaching production technique to audiences ranging from beginners to working professionals. You'll use Runway's generative tools as a core part of your workflow, both to teach them and to produce with them.
Key responsibilities include setting channel strategy with the creative team (topics, formats, cadence, audience), owning growth metrics (watch time, retention), writing and finishing every video including screen recordings and custom motion graphics, building viewer community, finding guest collaborators, and partnering with Product and Marketing on launches.
You'll work inside the company making the tools you're teaching, with early access, direct product relationships, and creative latitude. This is positioned as a home for craft and experimentation, not a brand content factory.
Required qualifications: an active YouTube channel or substantial published long-form video work; expert editing and motion graphics skills (After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent); advanced hands-on Runway experience and fluency with other generative AI video tools; filmmaking fundamentals (shooting, lighting, directing); a distinct point of view on filmmaking or visual storytelling; ability to run full production solo without a crew.
