Workstream is a mission-driven Series B company building an all-in-one HR, payroll, and hiring platform for the hourly workforce. With 2.7 billion hourly workers making up 80% of the global workforce, the market remains underserved by technology. Workstream serves leading brands including Burger King, Carl's Jr./Hardee's, IHOP, KFC, and Culvers, and is backed by top-tier VCs including Founders Fund, BOND, and Coatue.
You will join as Head of Brand & Product Marketing, owning how Workstream is positioned, launched, and remembered as the company expands from a vertical SaaS leader into an AI-native platform for the entire frontline workforce. You'll run product marketing, brand, content, and design as one integrated team, reporting directly to revenue leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
**Positioning & Narrative**: Own Workstream's end-to-end positioning and messaging, including the strategic decision to lead with restaurant dominance versus the broader frontline-workforce story. You'll test positioning through market feedback rather than internal debate.
**Product Launches**: Run go-to-market launches for a portfolio that includes AI products (such as an AI assistant for frontline teams) alongside hiring, HR, and payroll offerings. You'll drive messaging, pricing & packaging input, launch planning, and sales enablement that makes the team effective from day one.
**Brand & Content**: Lead the content and design team across the website, case studies, video, webinars, and social channels. Raise the bar on all customer-facing materials and leverage AI to produce at a pace that would require a much larger team.
**Sales Enablement**: Arm account executives and partnerships with competitive narratives, teardowns, ROI stories, and customer proof points. Sit in on deals, talk to lost prospects, and adapt messaging based on market feedback.
**Team Leadership**: Manage and grow a small, high-output team of product marketers, content marketers, and designers. Be the strongest individual contributor on the team when it matters.
This is a 4-5 days per week in-office role at the San Francisco headquarters. The company supports relocation and visa sponsorship for the right candidate. You'll see your work show up in the pipeline within weeks, not quarters, in a fast-paced environment where ex-founders thrive.
