Neko Health is a preventative healthcare company using proprietary technology and clinical care to deliver personalized health insights in a single, non-invasive visit. The company is expanding into the US market and seeking a Workforce Management Lead to build strategic labor analytics and AI-enabled workforce planning capabilities. This is a strategic, data-driven role focused on analyzing Neko's labor performance end-to-end—from raw operational data through to staffing and cost decisions. You will own labor metrics including productivity, utilization, cost per labor hour, and labor waste, translating raw data into actionable strategic insights for leadership. Key responsibilities include: **Strategic Labour Analytics (lead priority)** - Own end-to-end analysis of labor performance metrics from raw data through strategic recommendations leadership can act on - Develop short- and long-term labor forecasts using historical data, seasonality trends, and business growth projections - Provide insights and recommendations on staffing adjustments during demand surges (e.g., flu season) **AI-Enabled Workforce Design** - Explore and implement AI/ML methods to improve shift-pattern design, coverage modeling, and forecasting accuracy - Identify and pilot opportunities where AI or automation can materially improve staffing efficiency or decision quality **Data & Systems Build** - Design and build forecasting models, dashboards, and staffing tools from scratch (not just configure vendor solutions) - Structure the tech stack for scheduling, time tracking, and leave management - Identify automation opportunities within systems **Cross-Functional Coordination** - Work with HR, Operations, and Medical Operations to manage absenteeism, overtime, and productivity gaps - Use labor-analytics insights to inform strategic conversations **Day-to-Day Support** - Support rota scheduling and shift coverage across multiple clinic geographies - Ensure optimal staffing mix across shifts (days, evenings, weekends) - Support shift bid processes and rotations to optimize coverage and employee satisfaction **Requirements** - Proven experience building a workforce forecasting model, staffing tool, or scheduling dashboard from scratch (not just configuring vendor-built solutions) - Experience applying AI or machine-learning methods to workforce planning, forecasting, or scheduling problems - Owned workforce planning and labor-metrics analysis across multiple sites - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL) and workforce planning systems - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English **Preferred Experience** - Background in shift-based, multi-site industries (retail, logistics/warehousing, aviation, hospitality, manufacturing) valued equally with healthcare experience
