Superpower is building a modern health system combining lab testing, data aggregation, AI diagnostics, and peptide therapies. The company has grown 10x in the past 6 months while halving customer acquisition cost and is preparing for hyper-growth. You will be hired as Operations Lead to build and scale the operations infrastructure supporting Superpower's growing member base. Working closely with leadership, you'll identify critical operational problems, develop solutions, and own implementation across the member experience. Key responsibilities include: - Improve blood draw operations by expanding appointment availability, improving completion rates and reliability, reducing errors, and investigating where the experience breaks down to fix root causes with providers and internal teams. - Strengthen diagnostic and vendor operations by improving the member experience from ordering through completion, evaluating partners, establishing service standards, and managing performance and costs to improve reliability and margins. - Build workforce capacity and efficiency by forecasting demand, modeling staffing needs, improving work allocation across member success and clinical operations, and leveraging AI and automation to increase productivity while maintaining service quality. - Scale B2B operations by partnering with Customer Success to build repeatable processes for employer onboarding, employee activation, and ongoing service delivery as the client base grows. - Launch new operational capabilities by owning setup for new services and delivery models (blood draw modalities, prescription operations, virtual appointments, advanced diagnostics, specialty referrals), defining pilots, securing vendors and staffing, building workflows, and staying accountable for post-launch performance. - Make operations more resilient by turning successful improvements into repeatable processes with clear ownership, documentation, and performance measures, and strengthening the team's capacity to reduce dependency on individuals. You will work cross-functionally with member success, clinical operations, product, engineering, and external partners. Success is measured by more members receiving reliable, high-quality experiences, with improving service capacity, unit economics, and profitability. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of relevant experience in operations, strategy and operations, consulting, or building a company, including at least 2 years in an operating role - Demonstrated track record of personally building or improving a business operation (service delivery process, vendor network, or workforce model), with ability to explain what you owned, decisions made, and results achieved - AI-native mindset: ability to use AI to investigate problems, automate workflows, and scale operations - Systems thinking: ability to look past one-off fixes and understand how incentives, handoffs, tools, data, and process interact, then redesign systems for lasting solutions - P&L understanding: ability to connect operational decisions to revenue, gross margin, cost-to-serve, and profit, and prioritize work based on business impact - Strong analytical skills and comfort working directly with data: forecasting demand, modeling capacity and costs, sizing opportunities, and using operational data to inform decisions - Ability to investigate unfamiliar processes, identify root causes, and carry solutions through implementation and measurement - Effective cross-functional collaboration with frontline teams, technical partners, vendors, and leadership; clear communication and follow-through on commitments - Comfort moving between setting direction and doing detailed work yourself; taking responsibility for operational performance post-launch - Genuine interest in improving healthcare and understanding how reliability, convenience, and clear communication shape member experience
