OpenAI is seeking a Web Producer to own the execution and delivery of web projects across OpenAI.com. This is a hands-on production role that bridges creative vision and technical execution in a fast-moving, frontier AI environment.
You will drive web projects from intake through launch, translating creative briefs and marketing requests into structured production plans. Key responsibilities include: managing timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional handoffs; building and updating web pages using existing components, templates, and design systems; implementing content, layouts, imagery, assets, and metadata with precision; partnering with Marketing, Growth, Product, Design, Communications, and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and coordinate approvals; leading pre-launch quality assurance across content, layout, links, assets, responsive behavior, accessibility, SEO, performance, and brand consistency; managing multiple parallel requests while communicating status, blockers, and tradeoffs clearly; and coordinating post-launch fixes while documenting and improving repeatable production workflows.
Ideal candidates bring experience producing and shipping web or digital projects in marketing or product environments (site updates, campaigns, launches); hands-on CMS experience with reusable components and publishing workflows; strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail; ability to translate ambiguous briefs into concrete execution plans; familiarity with design systems, responsive design, QA, SEO, accessibility, and web performance; and clear, proactive communication with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
The role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule requiring office presence Monday through Wednesday. This is an opportunity to shape how cutting-edge AI research and products are communicated to the world at a company working at the frontier of intelligence.
