CLEAR is building a secure identity platform transforming how people live, work, and travel. With 43+ million members and a growing partner network, CLEAR's platform enables frictionless experiences across airports, stadiums, and everyday life.
You will lead CLEAR's government enterprise sales motion from the ground up, owning strategy, execution, and outcomes across federal, state, and local agencies. This is a VP-level role with full P&L responsibility for the GovTech segment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute go-to-market strategy across federal, state, and local government segments
- Carry and deliver against ambitious revenue targets
- Establish trust with senior government stakeholders, procurement leaders, and policy influencers
- Lead multi-threaded deals involving procurement, compliance, legal, and technical stakeholders
- Partner with Product, Legal, and Policy teams to align CLEAR's offerings with government needs
- Build and lead a high-performing GovTech sales organization from scratch
- Develop scalable systems for pipeline generation, forecasting, and deal execution
Success is measured by revenue growth and stickiness across public sector segments, and expansion of CLEAR's footprint across agencies and jurisdictions.
You bring 15+ years of public sector sales experience with strong current relationships. You've built or scaled a government sales function in a high-growth environment and have a track record of landing large, multi-year public sector contracts. Experience selling complex, technical products (identity, security, SaaS, or infrastructure) is preferred. You're fluent in procurement processes, compliance requirements, and budget cycles, and can align cross-functional stakeholders effectively.
Compensation includes base salary, annual bonus, and equity (RSUs), with total on-target compensation of $450,000–$650,000 depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive healthcare, family-building support, flexible time off, wellness stipend, OneMedical memberships, and 401(k) with employer match.
