Ping Identity is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead new business growth across the Americas, including US new logo acquisition, Canada, and Latin America. Reporting to the SVP of Americas, you will drive revenue targets and provide strategic leadership to country and regional managers across these territories. Key responsibilities include: Business Management: Serve as the new business growth engine, delivering on revenue targets for assigned regions. Provide visionary leadership to direct and indirect sales teams, fostering a high-performance culture. Develop and implement go-to-market strategies aligned with business goals. Drive revenue growth through market penetration and sales process optimization. Collaborate with Marketing, Renewals, Customer Success, and Product Management on integrated strategies. Create and review operational plans to achieve business objectives. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs. Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers. Data-Driven Leadership: Partner with sales operations to analyze forecasting, pipeline, and sales stage data for continuous improvement. Accurately forecast and achieve business targets. Plan and control departmental expenses while identifying efficiencies. Master company systems (Salesforce, ClosePlan, Anaplan) and ensure compliance with standard practices. Optimize for high performance and scalability. Establish and track KPIs to evaluate sales effectiveness. People Leadership: Build and lead a high-performance organization of sales leaders and individual contributors. Develop revenue and pipeline-related resources across teams. Own hiring, promotions, merit increases, rewards, recognition, and training decisions. Coach and mentor individuals and teams; identify and execute sales force development and enablement opportunities. Required: 15+ years senior sales management experience in strategy, planning, and execution. Proven first-line and second-line leadership experience. Demonstrated success building and scaling new logo acquisition businesses with a track record of hiring elite acquisition-focused talent. Deep understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and complex deal structures.
