Ping Identity is seeking a Vice President of Sales for the West Region to drive revenue growth and shape Go-To-Market strategy across the Western United States, Canada, and Latin America. Reporting to the SVP of Americas, you will lead a dynamic sales organization, own regional revenue targets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute company strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
Business Management: Serve as the revenue engine for the West region by delivering against targets. Provide visionary leadership to foster a high-performance sales culture. Develop and implement regional Go-To-Market strategy aligned with business goals. Drive revenue growth through new business identification, account expansion, and sales process optimization. Partner with Marketing, Renewals, Customer Success, and Product Management on integrated strategies. Create and measure operational plans tied to business objectives. Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs. Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Data-Driven Leadership: Partner with sales operations to analyze forecasting, pipeline, and sales stage data for continuous improvement. Accurately forecast and achieve business targets. Plan and control departmental expenses while identifying efficiencies. Demonstrate expertise with systems and procedures (Salesforce, ClosePlan). Establish and track KPIs to evaluate sales effectiveness. Continuously optimize for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
People Leadership: Build and lead a high-performance organization of sales leaders and individual contributors. Provide leadership and development for all revenue and pipeline-related resources. Own people decisions including hiring, promotions, merit increases, rewards, recognition, and training. Coach and mentor individuals and teams; identify and execute sales force development and enablement opportunities.
Required: 15+ years hands-on senior sales management experience in strategy, planning, execution, operations, and business planning. BS in Business Administration (MBA preferred). Expertise in Enterprise Software, SaaS, Managed Services, and strategic account management. Cybersecurity/identity industry experience preferred. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen required.
