Sila Nanotechnologies is a next-generation battery materials company on a mission to power the world's transition to clean energy. The company engineers and manufactures breakthrough battery materials that significantly increase energy density while reducing size and weight, enabling smaller, more powerful batteries for consumer devices and electric vehicles. As VP of People & Culture, you will lead all aspects of the people function and serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for elevating talent, culture, and organizational performance across the company. Key responsibilities include: - Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, and rewards - Design and execute HR strategy aligned with business goals, using HR analytics to identify opportunities - Lead talent management and succession planning to build an exceptional pipeline supporting company growth - Oversee all HR operations: recruitment, assessment, training, performance management, development, compensation, benefits, compliance, labor relations, and HR systems - Drive employee engagement and foster a customer-focused workforce - Lead diversity and inclusion strategy and build a talent magnet culture - Develop and mentor a high-performing HR team - Establish aligned policies and cultural norms, including complete staffing of the Moses Lake manufacturing plant - Ensure total rewards structure supports organizational objectives You will need high integrity, a confident voice for change, exceptional communication skills, and a business-first, growth mindset.
