As People Operations Specialist, you will be the operational backbone of Range's People function during a critical hyper-growth phase. This role owns the complete employee lifecycle experience and manages day-to-day HR operations independently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end to ensure smooth employee experience
- Managing timesheet and payroll inputs, coordinating closely with the PEO and Finance teams
- Serving as primary owner of HR systems, data accuracy, reporting, and audits
- Triaging and resolving employee questions related to benefits, policies, and HR processes
- Maintaining and improving HR documentation, policies, and self-service resources
- Partnering with the Head of People and HRBP to improve and scale people operations
- Identifying process gaps and proactively implementing improvements
You'll work in a fast-paced startup environment alongside former CEOs, founders, and experts from leading hedge funds and tech companies. The role requires strong execution, sound judgment, and the ability to independently run core HR processes.
Required qualifications: 4+ years of HR operations experience, ideally in tech startups. You should have strong attention to detail, excellent judgment, ability to manage multiple priorities independently, comfort partnering with external vendors and internal stakeholders, and a desire to build scalable systems rather than just execute tasks.
