Inspira Education Group is a fast-growing edtech startup backed by leading VCs (Zeev Ventures, Quiet Capital, Craft Ventures) on a mission to democratize access to high-quality coaching for students pursuing medical, legal, business, and college admissions. As the world's leading network of top admissions coaches, they're disrupting traditional application processes with software and services that level the playing field for candidates from diverse backgrounds.
This Talent Sourcer role treats recruitment as a strategic, high-performing function rather than a support operation. You'll own end-to-end sourcing for hard-to-fill, niche, and senior roles—partnering closely with hiring managers to design ideal candidate profiles, running advanced Boolean and X-ray searches across LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms, and executing personalized outreach campaigns. The position requires deep expertise in proactive sourcing, not just managing inbound applications.
Key responsibilities include: designing and executing advanced Boolean/X-ray searches; building sharp Ideal Candidate Profiles with hiring managers; owning concurrent sourcing pipelines while maintaining quality; running high-volume, personalized outreach and optimizing messaging based on response data; screening candidates before handoff; documenting playbooks and SOPs; tracking sourcing metrics (response rates, conversion, time-to-fill) and acting on insights; and rebuilding search strategies when approaches aren't working rather than simply increasing volume.
You'll need 3–5 years of recruiting and sourcing experience with deep Boolean and LinkedIn Recruiter expertise. You should have a proven track record filling hard or senior roles through proactive sourcing across multiple functions (not just one specialty), excellent written communication skills that generate responses from passive candidates, systems-thinking mindset with documentation discipline, and comfort owning multiple concurrent searches autonomously.
The role is based in Gramercy, NYC, and requires in-office attendance 5 days per week. Inspira offers competitive benefits including 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, pre-tax benefits (FSA, DCFSA, HSA, Commuter), flexible PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k) with company match.
