Perry Weather builds technology that helps organizations stay safe and operational during severe weather events. You will build and lead the sales organization through the company's next growth phase, reporting directly to the CRO. This is a people-leadership role focused on scaling the sales function from a strong foundation into an enterprise-grade revenue engine.
Key responsibilities include: hiring and developing Sales Managers who build high-performing teams; establishing an enterprise sales motion to capture six and seven-figure opportunities; partnering with the CRO and Product to identify and enter new markets; owning sales forecasting and pipeline management; improving sales processes and structure as the team scales; staying involved in major opportunities; and collaborating with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and RevOps to build a cohesive revenue organization.
You bring 10+ years of sales leadership experience, including managing managers at venture-backed companies from Seed through Series C. You have a proven track record scaling sales organizations through major growth stages, ideally from $20M to $50M+ ARR. You've built enterprise sales motions, taking ACV from five figures to six figures while closing with sophisticated, multi-stakeholder buyers. You have direct experience opening net-new markets—building GTM strategies, hiring teams, and generating revenue in new segments. You combine strong operational discipline (tight forecasting, data-driven decision-making) with intuition honed by experience. You're creative in deal structuring and know how to use business cases, deal mechanics, and executive alignment to close complex deals.
