Sitemate is a B2B SaaS company building software and AI agents for the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. The company has strong product-market fit, generates thousands of leads monthly through organic channels, and is backed by Blackbird with 200 employees across 18+ countries.
This is a newly created VP of Product, Growth role reporting directly to the CEO. You will own the product-driven side of the growth funnel—acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and revenue conversion—across the homepage, microsites, product sites, and the platform itself. This is explicitly not a sales or revenue-closing role; it sits at the intersection of product and marketing.
You will manage a team of 3 engineers and shape its growth from here. Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the full funnel (all five stages) and identifying the biggest constraint at each conversion point
- Setting up funnel instrumentation, defining what gets tracked, and ensuring data integrity
- Building product signals that turn product, marketing, and CRM data into actionable insights for the sales team
- Running the Growth operating cadence: KPIs, SLAs, multiple experiments per week, and quarterly planning
- Partnering closely with the VP of Marketing on experiments across the homepage and microsites
- Collaborating with GTM leadership, Product, and Engineering to align on shared metrics and execution
- Owning Growth's AI adoption strategy, including agentic workflows and automation targets
- Making experiment and funnel calls personally, with data backing each decision
Immediate priorities include scaling product signals and the customer data platform, bringing A/B testing into Growth once Engineering completes the experimentation foundation, setting Growth's KPIs and SLAs with Marketing, and diagnosing the biggest funnel constraint.
Success metrics at 90 days: you're making experiment calls with data backing, you've triaged existing signals, every initiative has a named owner and success measure, and you've identified the biggest funnel constraint in writing. At 6 months: all five funnel stages tracked end-to-end on trusted data, the constraint has measurably moved, A/B testing is live, and regular cadences with Marketing, GTM, and Product are running. At 12 months: the funnel converts measurably better at prioritized stages, quarterly planning runs without you holding every piece, and someone is ready to step into a key leadership role.
You'll work in a player-coach culture where managers at every level, including executives, make hands-on decisions. The company operates with full transparency on metrics, hiring, and financial performance. You'll have access to AI coding tools, project management platforms, and a global team across Australia, the UK, the US, and Canada.
