Modern Treasury is hiring a VP of Product to report directly to the CEO and drive the company's next phase of growth. The company provides trusted infrastructure for money movement, helping teams launch and scale payment experiences in days rather than months. With best-in-class developer tools, a single API for fiat and stablecoins, plus built-in compliance, ledgering, and reporting capabilities, Modern Treasury enables businesses to move money instantly, reliably, and at scale. The platform processes $300B+ annually for customers ranging from YC startups to Fortune 500 companies. The company is rapidly scaling its Payments platform and has plans to open its own national trust bank pending approval. In this role, you will partner closely with the CEO and management team on company and product strategy, develop and scale the go-to-market motion, and deliver high-quality products for customers. Key responsibilities include: building and running a product organization that consistently identifies impactful areas of focus and collaborates effectively with engineering to ship quality products; engaging directly with companies early and often to understand their needs and validate product direction; teaching your team and GTM partners how to effectively communicate and sell new products; and developing your current product manager team while recruiting new talent. This is a player-coach role where you will lead by example and learn by doing. You'll be expected to get in front of customers yourself and represent the business credibly with boards, investors, and external stakeholders. REQUIREMENTS: - 10+ years in product management - 5+ years leading product teams - Experience in high-growth startup environments - Fintech experience in infrastructure or application layer (payments experience strongly preferred) - Strong communication and storytelling skills - History of operating as a player-coach - Prior experience with developer/API products is a plus
