This is a high-ownership role for someone equally comfortable in data and the boardroom, who moves fast and maintains high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own insight development end-to-end, from research design through executive-level client delivery, including decks, targeting strategies, and insight frameworks
- Translate complex scientific, behavioral, and market dynamics into clear, differentiated points of view and action plans that inform client commercial decisions
- Serve as primary insights lead on key biopharma client engagements, acting as trusted strategic partner to VP and C-suite stakeholders at Fortune 500 companies
- Operate across therapeutic areas and drug modalities with confidence, including pre-approval contexts (clinical trial recruitment, disease state education) and post-approval work (precision marketing, HCP segmentation)
- Proactively identify insight opportunities and white space for clients, bringing forward strategic recommendations unprompted
- Partner with Account Management, Client Services, and Product to embed insights across the client relationship and Vi platform
Requirements:
- 8 to 10+ years of relevant pharma experience in strategy consulting, insights, medical communications, or agency, with a track record of independently leading client-facing engagements
- Deep scientific literacy across disease states, mechanisms of action, and clinical data, with ability to credibly engage pharma clients on complex scientific and strategic questions
- Strong commercial instincts and clear understanding of how insights translate into go-to-market decisions, HCP targeting, and patient engagement strategy
- Hands-on experience with claims data, intent data, primary market research, and competitive intelligence across multiple therapeutic areas
- Demonstrated track record of owning work end-to-end—not just advising on strategy but building, delivering, and iterating on final products
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and managing multiple engagements at speed
- Collaborative, low-ego approach with genuine obsession for client outcomes
