Carefeed is a platform for senior living and long-term care communities that replaces paperwork, spreadsheets, and multiple point solutions with a unified, easy-to-use system. The platform integrates with EHRs and HRIS systems to reduce manual work, improve communication, and give staff more time for residents. Trusted by thousands of communities, Carefeed delivers measurable time savings and supports teams from admissions through daily care operations.
You will build and own Carefeed's marketing function, reporting to the Head of Growth. Your core mandate is brand strategy and lead generation, transforming the existing marketing work (product education, content, events) into a demand generation engine with measurable pipeline contribution. You'll develop a channel strategy aimed at the post-acute ecosystem and build a thought-leadership motion that earns trust with operators and owners before sales conversations begin.
Key responsibilities include: building and owning the demand generation engine with direct pipeline contribution as the primary success metric; developing Carefeed's marketing strategy from channel mix through lead volume, quality, and conversion; leading and growing the marketing function, identifying capability gaps as it scales; owning activation and presence across AHCA/NCAL/state association channels and conference calendars as lead generation channels; building an ROI-led content and thought leadership program; partnering with the Head of Growth and commercial team to align marketing with pipeline goals and BDR outreach; owning brand positioning and messaging consistency across web, content, and events; establishing marketing measurement discipline connecting campaigns to leads, pipeline, and revenue; and evaluating and implementing marketing technology and processes for a scaling GTM motion.
This is a role at a fast-growing, venture-backed startup where you'll have significant autonomy and the opportunity to build marketing from a growing but still early-stage base.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior leadership role owning marketing strategy end to end
- Track record of building and scaling a demand generation function with specific, defensible lead generation and pipeline contribution results
- Experience building a marketing function from a limited or early-stage base, not just operating within a mature one
- B2B SaaS or healthcare technology background; senior living, long-term care, or adjacent healthcare services experience is a strong plus
- Experience building thought-leadership-led (not pitch-led) marketing programs, ideally in a relationship-driven or trade-association-anchored industry
- Strong people leadership instincts; you'll build and grow a marketing team as the function scales
- Comfortable operating at a fast-growing, venture-backed startup where process is still being built
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
