Salary: USD 321,000 - 520,000 / annual

LaunchDarkly seeks a VP of Sales for the Americas to lead and scale the core revenue region during a period of high growth and rapid product expansion. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this leader will own new business and expansion revenue across North America's Strategic, Enterprise, and Corporate segments. The role is ideal for a builder and operator who can translate market insight into focused go-to-market execution, establish a repeatable pipeline engine, and create the operating discipline needed for predictable growth. The VP will lead a multi-level sales organization and partner closely with Marketing, SDR/BDR, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Partnerships, Enablement, Product, and Revenue Operations. Key responsibilities include owning Americas new business and expansion revenue; setting go-to-market strategy across segmentation, territories, coverage, capacity, and hiring; building repeatable pipeline through outbound, inbound, account-based, partner, and executive-selling motions; establishing rigorous operating rhythms for pipeline inspection, forecasting, deal progression, and performance reviews; leading, coaching, and developing Sales Directors, Managers, and Account Executives; driving consistent sales methodology and account planning; engaging in strategic deals to scale new logo, adoption, cross-sell, and expansion motions; partnering across functions to improve pipeline and deal quality; representing North America in global go-to-market planning; and partnering with Revenue Operations, Enablement, Finance, and People on productivity and retention. Required qualifications include 12+ years in B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales with 7+ years in sales leadership and experience managing managers. Candidates should have proven success scaling North America go-to-market strategy and sales organizations in high-growth technology companies, experience leading Strategic, Enterprise, and Corporate segments, track record of delivering new business and expansion through complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and experience selling technical products to engineering, DevOps, platform, product, IT, and executive buyers. Developer tools or infrastructure experience is a plus. Strong expertise in pipeline generation, forecasting, territory planning, account coverage, sales methodology, and performance management is essential, along with the ability to hire, develop, and retain strong sales managers and individual contributors, and demonstrated executive presence and cross-functional leadership skills.
