This Virtual Sales Representative role is based remotely and focuses on marketing and selling Tavalisse (fostamatinib disodium hexahydrate) tablets for chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) to healthcare providers, office staff, and administrators via teleconference and telephone. The role is part of EVERSANA's deployment solutions team supporting Rigel, a fast-growing pharmaceutical company specializing in hematologic and oncology therapies.
Key responsibilities include:
**Product Education & Engagement:** Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and clinical data to healthcare providers while ensuring regulatory compliance. Actively listen and tailor messaging to address specific needs and concerns. Maintain deep expertise in therapeutic areas, clinical data, and competitive landscape.
**Virtual Relationship Management:** Build and expand strong relationships with healthcare providers, office staff, and administrators through video conferencing (Teams, Zoom) and telephone calls. Establish credibility and trust while adapting engagement strategies based on customer preferences and schedules.
**Sales Performance & Territory Management:** Achieve and exceed sales targets by driving customer activation and product adoption within assigned territories. Collaborate with teammates to align on strategy and share best practices.
**Data-Driven Insights & Reporting:** Use CRM tools to track interactions, manage schedules, and document key insights. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities. Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to sales and marketing teams.
**Compliance & Professional Development:** Adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Stay informed on product updates and clinical guidelines. Participate in training and development programs.
The role requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to sales and training meetings. **Requirements:**
- 4-year BA/BS degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 18 months of sales experience as a virtual representative
- Pharmaceutical oncology experience preferred
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with strategy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain high productivity
- Proven strategic thinking with high integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for interfacing with healthcare providers and administrators
- Technical and digital proficiency to utilize systems effectively
