EVERSANA is seeking a Virtual Diagnostic Specialist to serve as a diagnostic leader educating healthcare providers on genetic testing initiatives and programs across a U.S. region. This role operates entirely through remote and virtual platforms, combining clinical expertise with commercial acumen.
Key responsibilities include: (1) Genotyping & Diagnostic Leadership—educating healthcare providers on genetic testing to drive awareness of sponsored testing programs, identifying educational needs within the inherited retinal disease (IRD) community, and providing expertise on genetic labs, IRD panels, and test result interpretation; (2) Cross-Functional Collaboration—partnering compliantly with internal teams to develop and implement U.S. diagnostic strategy; (3) Stakeholder Education & Advocacy—identifying and engaging Genetic Testing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), attending conferences, participating in compliant advocacy and outreach, and delivering high-quality education to healthcare providers and partner labs.
The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS (healthcare degree strongly preferred: MS, RN, PA, PharmD, PhD) with 3–4 years of pharma/biotech experience in commercial, clinical/medical, or diagnostics roles. Required skills include excellent virtual presentation and communication abilities, proficiency with CRM platforms and virtual meeting technologies, and proven success in high-performing, diverse teams. Experience with KOL collaboration, labs, and internal/external stakeholders is essential. Preferred qualifications include virtual customer engagement, inside sales, clinical support, diagnostics, or medical education experience; prior work in rare or ultra-rare diseases with strong patient focus; and knowledge of ophthalmology.
