You will join Tripledot Games, a leading developer and publisher of casual and puzzle games with studios in London, Warsaw, and Barcelona. The studio is known for titles like Woodoku, Woodoku Blast, Solitaire, and TripleTile, and operates a best-in-class data-driven approach spanning development, publishing, and machine learning.
As a VFX Artist / Animator, you will work closely with Art and Tech Art leadership to create stunning, mobile-optimized visual effects and compelling animations for UI, environments, and characters. Beyond asset creation, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Art, Design, Engineering, and QA teams—troubleshooting rigging, VFX, and animation issues directly in Unity while helping refine team workflows and best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing visual standards and technical specifications for VFX and animation across projects in collaboration with Art Directors and Lead Artists
- Creating high-quality, performant real-time VFX optimized for mobile platforms
- Developing UI, gameplay, character, and environment animations
- Troubleshooting VFX, animation, rigging, and implementation issues in-engine with Tech Art teams
- Cross-functional collaboration throughout the development lifecycle
- Contributing to improved animation workflows and team best practices

REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong portfolio demonstrating VFX and animation work for casual games
- Familiarity with Unity particle systems, animator controllers, and basic state machines
- Good knowledge of Photoshop
- Strong art fundamentals including color composition and visual hierarchy
- Passion for games
- 3D experience with Blender (preferred)
- After Effects experience for animated mockups (preferred)
