Oura is seeking a Senior Digital Sculptor to join its design team in Helsinki. The company makes the Oura Ring, an award-winning wearable health device that helps millions of users track readiness, activity, and sleep quality.
In this role, you will bridge industrial design and production reality through advanced 3D modeling and visualization. You'll partner closely with industrial design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to translate design intent into precise, production-ready CAD models. Your responsibilities include:
- Creating high-quality 3D CAD models using advanced surfacing techniques to sculpt complex forms that balance aesthetic excellence with manufacturability
- Developing high-fidelity visualizations and photorealistic renderings to communicate product concepts clearly
- Optimizing models for prototyping and manufacturing based on deep understanding of design principles and production methods
- Iterating quickly on feedback with precision and attention to detail
- Contributing to the evolution of Oura's design language through craftsmanship and technical mastery
- Developing and implementing new tools, workflows, and technologies to enhance modeling and visualization efficiency
This is a hybrid role based in Helsinki, with expectation to work from the Design Studio at Pohjoisesplanadi 37 at least half the time.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of experience with advanced 3D CAD tools, including Autodesk Alias and Siemens NX
- Advanced experience with Keyshot or similar rendering/visualization tools
- Strong familiarity with Substance or other material/texture creation software (strong plus)
- Solid foundation in industrial design principles and product development workflows
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and their impact on 3D modeling and surface development
- Exceptional skill in creating detailed, accurate, production-ready 3D models
- Strong portfolio demonstrating 3D modeling, surfacing, and visualization for product design with shipped products
- Strong experience preparing 3D models for rapid prototyping or tooling
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for fast-paced, cross-functional environments
