As Lead Product Designer, you will own Motorway's most complex design challenges across the full product lifecycle, from discovery through delivery. - Spearheading how the team integrates AI thoughtfully into design workflows while maintaining human judgment and craft
- Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and data teams—speaking their language through code, prototypes, or custom tools
- Serving as fierce advocate for users through research, usability testing, and data-driven validation
- Mentoring junior and senior designers, running workshops, and fostering a strong design culture
- Producing high-quality deliverables (user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups) that meet accessibility standards
- Communicating design decisions with commercial awareness, connecting user insights to business goals
- Contributing to continuous improvement by exploring emerging tools, patterns, and practices

REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven track record as Senior or Lead Product Designer with successful shipping of impactful digital products across web and mobile
- Builder's instinct: experience shipping code, building products, or creating functional prototypes and tools
- Strong grasp of consumer journeys with experience in both B2C and B2B product landscapes
- Highly considered approach to AI in design—understanding strategic use, human judgment, and team guidance
- Commercial acumen to connect design execution to business outcomes and shape product strategy
- High proficiency in design/prototyping tools (Figma, Claude, Kiro) and user-centered design methodologies
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and research synthesis
- Bonus: experience optimizing user journeys/conversion funnels via experimentation, or working in fast-paced two-sided marketplaces
