Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company building the platform for the next generation of software. As a Development Representative focused on Startups, you'll help bring innovative early-stage companies onto the Vercel platform. You'll identify and engage high-potential startup teams across EMEA, with emphasis on UK, Ireland, and the DACH region, educating engineering and product leaders on how Vercel can help them ship faster and build better web experiences. Your core responsibilities include researching prospects and tailoring outreach to engineering, product, and marketing leaders; generating outbound opportunities through personalized engagement; partnering with Account Executives to build pipeline in the Startups segment; and collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll learn directly from world-class sales and product leaders, gain exposure to the SaaS sales cycle, and build a strong foundation for a career in go-to-market at Vercel. You'll work with some of the most innovative developer-first companies in the market, connecting with founders and early-stage teams who are scaling quickly and ready to invest in performance and developer experience. The role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday in the London office. You'll need 1+ years of experience in a technical, sales, or customer support role for a technical product, passion for web development, familiarity with startup culture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A background in computer science, web development, or experience with Vercel, Next.js, Salesforce, or as an SDR is a bonus.
