As University Recruiter for Technical Support Engineering, you will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts to build a robust pipeline of candidates across Verkada's San Mateo HQ, New York City, London, and Sydney offices. This role blends university recruiting with industry recruiting, requiring you to proactively source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, and other tools.
Key responsibilities include organizing and hosting on-campus recruiting events (presentations, tech talks, career fairs) at multiple universities, partnering with career services and student organizations, and managing the company's intern program and related events. You'll handle interview scheduling, candidate travel arrangements, onsite logistics, and serve as the primary point of contact ensuring a thoughtful candidate experience. You'll also manage candidate workflows and data integrity in Greenhouse ATS, including stage movement, interview feedback, and reporting.
You'll identify and implement improvements to sourcing strategies, recruiting workflows, and ATS usage. The role requires 5 days/week onsite at San Mateo HQ and willingness to travel for university recruiting efforts.
Required: Bachelor's degree, 2+ years recruiting experience, strong organizational skills, excellent communication, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and enthusiasm for learning. You must be independently authorized to work in the U.S.
