Sierra is building an AI platform to help businesses create better, more human customer experiences. Founded by Bret Taylor (former Salesforce co-CEO, Facebook CTO, Google Maps co-creator) and Clay Bavor (18-year Google veteran who led Google Labs, AR/VR, and Google Workspace), the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices across Atlanta, New York, London, Paris, Madrid, Munich, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney.
As University Recruiter, you will lead full-cycle recruitment processes focused on early-career talent and campus recruiting. Your responsibilities include sourcing and screening candidates, engaging passive candidates through online platforms and networking, driving diverse hiring initiatives, and tracking recruiting metrics to optimize processes. You'll develop and execute Sierra's campus recruiting strategy by building relationships with universities and student communities, representing the company at career fairs and recruiting events, and helping build and run internship and early-career programs.
You should bring 5+ years of full-cycle or university recruiting experience in fast-paced, high-growth tech environments, with proven ability to develop recruiting strategies aligned with business objectives. Proficiency in recruiting metrics and data analysis is essential, along with strong cross-functional collaboration skills. Ideally, you have existing relationships with career centers, student organizations, faculty, and campus ambassadors, plus experience planning and executing campus engagement strategies.
Additional strengths include comfort navigating ambiguity in a growing organization, willingness to travel during peak recruiting cycles and work flexible hours, and interest in building programs from the ground up—launching intern initiatives and designing early talent hiring processes.
Sierra's culture is built on five core values: Trust (accountability, empathy, quality, responsiveness), Customer Obsession (understanding customer goals and driving outcomes), Craftsmanship (attention to detail and continuous improvement), Intensity (playing to win, fixing problems quickly), and Family (balancing intensity with support for personal and professional growth).
