Eye Security is seeking a People Business Partner & Total Rewards professional to build and own critical people infrastructure as the company scales across Europe. This is a dual-focus role split roughly evenly between two areas. Total Rewards: You will own compensation and benefits end-to-end, including salary reviews, benchmarking, levelling, benefits administration, and equity program management. There is no pre-built framework—you will shape it from the ground up, ensure it scales as the company grows, and prepare Eye for EU pay-transparency compliance. You'll run annual salary reviews, maintain honest benchmarks, build salary bands that resonate with managers and employees, manage benefits across the Netherlands, UK, Germany, and Belgium, oversee equity grants and refreshers, and partner with Legal and Finance on regulatory readiness. People Business Partnership: You will be the trusted advisor to leaders in security operations, incident response, customer support, onboarding, and project management—the most diverse population in the company. You'll coach first-time managers on fundamentals while aligning compensation strategy with C-level executives. You'll provide coaching and strategic advice to leaders at all stages of maturity, handle complex employee relations (sick leave, reintegration, conduct issues), and maintain visible presence on the office floor in The Hague, listening to what's actually happening rather than partnering remotely. You'll work as part of a small, tight People team where everyone is hands-on and picks up varied responsibilities. This role requires presence, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to build solutions creatively without a manual. Eye Security protects European mid-market businesses from cyber threats through 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and integrated cyber insurance. The company has 170+ people across four countries with roots in Dutch intelligence and national CERTs. REQUIREMENTS: - HRBP experience in a scaling tech environment (200+ people) - Hands-on reward experience: approximately one year in a reward/C&B role, or multiple reward projects you led (salary reviews, benchmarking, levelling, benefits). Specialist depth not required; curiosity to build it is essential. - Comfortable with numbers: able to build compensation analysis in spreadsheets and explain to managers unfamiliar with the data - Strong stakeholder management and presence to challenge senior leadership constructively without becoming overly policy-focused - Genuine comfort with ambiguity and creative problem-solving - Hands-on working knowledge of Dutch labor law; know when to escalate to external counsel - Professional English (Dutch is a plus, not required) - Based in the Netherlands and willing to come into the office at least 1 day per week in The Hague, ideally 3 days
