Salesforce is seeking a Director of Thought Leadership & Content Strategy for Slack, the collaboration platform redefining work in the age of AI. This is a senior creative and editorial leadership role reporting to the Sr. Director of Portfolio PMM & Thought Leadership. You will translate Slack's platform narrative into market-moving content that shapes industry perception. Your core responsibilities include: developing category-defining whitepapers, trend reports, and thought leadership pieces that establish Slack's position at the frontier of AI and human collaboration; owning content strategy for major product launches end-to-end; ghostwriting executive bylines and long-form thought leadership for senior leadership; partnering with Communications and Analyst Relations to fuel their external programs with narrative and story angles; shaping Slack's digital content presence across slack.com and owned channels; and building and leading a small team of senior content and web product marketing managers. You'll sit at the intersection of editorial strategy, integrated go-to-market, content production, and market influence. Success means producing content that doesn't just explain features but genuinely shifts how the industry thinks about AI, work, and human-agent collaboration. You'll establish Slack's content quality benchmarks, voice guidelines, and editorial standards. The role requires 10+ years in content strategy, product marketing, or editorial leadership, with a portfolio demonstrating both strategic thinking and exceptional writing. You must have a proven track record building and leading high-performing content teams. Deep comfort translating complex product narratives into market-facing content is essential. Experience owning major GTM moments, strong editorial judgment, and fluency in AI or enterprise software are critical. Genuine curiosity about the future of work is a must.
