Mobia Medical is a commercial-stage medtech company delivering the Vivistim® Paired VNS™ Therapy, the first FDA-approved implantable solution for stroke recovery. This therapy combines vagus nerve stimulation with functional movement to promote neuroplasticity and improve motor skills in chronic ischemic stroke survivors with moderate to severe upper limb impairments.
As a Therapy Development Specialist, you will drive adoption and clinical integration of the Vivistim system across your assigned territory. Working in partnership with a territory manager, you will develop and execute territory plans to create new patient access pathways, with a primary focus on rehabilitation facilities and key decision makers.
Key responsibilities include: achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual implant and sales goals through UE-Dx evaluations and therapy coordination; managing and expanding rehabilitation facilities in your geography with comprehensive business planning; supporting surgical implanting sites in the operating suite; delivering in-depth product presentations to patients, clinicians, and healthcare partners; providing weekly sales forecasting; monitoring customer, market, and competitor activity; and collaborating with marketing on patient/customer access initiatives.
You will serve as a clinical expert, guiding therapy implementation, monitoring patient progress, and providing on-site and remote support to healthcare professionals—physicians, therapists, and rehabilitation teams—to ensure optimal outcomes and exceed customer expectations.
Ideal candidates have experience in clinical education, therapy coordination, or medical device support, with strong communication skills and deep understanding of neurorehabilitation or medical device environments. You should be motivated by improving the lives of stroke survivors and contributing to meaningful advancements in patient care.
