Mirum Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Therapeutic Account Manager (TAM) for its Liver portfolio, focused on rare cholestatic liver diseases. This role is based remotely and covers a territory centered on New Orleans. The TAM will develop deep clinical and account expertise in rare liver diseases and Mirum's therapeutic offerings. You will identify and prioritize high-opportunity customers, accounts, and referral networks; execute customized account plans; and drive disease awareness, appropriate patient identification, treatment consideration, and persistence in accordance with approved indications. Key responsibilities include: **Territory Strategy & Business Performance**: Develop and execute a focused territory business plan aligned with national and regional priorities. Use performance data, customer insights, market intelligence, and competitive trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategy. Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, and administrative documentation. **Strategic Account Management**: Identify and develop high-opportunity accounts, health systems, centers of excellence, and referral networks across pediatric and adult hepatology and gastroenterology. Create customized account plans reflecting local patient journeys, key stakeholders, clinical decision-making, and access considerations. Build trusted relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, and care team members. **Clinical Aptitude**: Develop deep knowledge of rare cholestatic liver disease, diagnostic pathways, mechanisms of action, clinical data, product profiles, safety information, and the competitive landscape. Communicate complex scientific information clearly and credibly, tailored to each healthcare professional's needs. Engage as a clinically credible peer through insightful questioning and active listening. **Influence & Impact**: Help customers recognize gaps in disease awareness and patient identification. Use emotional intelligence, curiosity, and thoughtful questioning to build trust with change-resistant professionals. Influence multiple stakeholders without authority and navigate resistance constructively. The ideal candidate is not a transactional seller but a clinically credible, insight-led partner who engages healthcare professionals as a peer, asks thoughtful questions, and influences change across complex accounts. You will work closely with the Regional Business Director and cross-functional partners to connect customer needs, patient journeys, and business opportunities.
