Mirum Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company focused on rare diseases, is seeking a Therapeutic Account Manager (TAM) for its Liver portfolio. This role is based remotely and covers a designated territory, with a primary focus on rare cholestatic liver diseases. The TAM will develop deep clinical and commercial expertise in Mirum's liver disease treatments and rare disease space. Key responsibilities include: **Territory Strategy & Business Performance**: Develop and execute a focused territory business plan aligned with national and regional priorities. Use performance data, market intelligence, and competitive trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategy. Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, and administrative documentation. **Strategic Account Management**: Identify and prioritize high-opportunity accounts, health systems, centers of excellence, and referral networks across pediatric and adult hepatology and gastroenterology. Create customized account plans reflecting local patient journeys, key stakeholders, clinical decision-making, and access considerations. Build trusted relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, and care team members through consistent value delivery. **Clinical Aptitude & Customer Engagement**: Develop deep knowledge of rare cholestatic liver disease, diagnostic pathways, clinical data, product profiles, safety information, and the competitive landscape. Communicate complex scientific information clearly and credibly, tailored to each healthcare professional's needs. Engage as a clinically credible peer, asking insightful questions and uncovering unmet needs. **Influence & Impact**: Help customers recognize gaps in disease awareness, patient identification, and treatment consideration. Use emotional intelligence, curiosity, and thoughtful questioning to build trust with change-resistant healthcare professionals. Influence multiple stakeholders without authority while balancing persistence with empathy. The ideal candidate is not transactional but rather an insight-led partner who demonstrates clinical credibility, high emotional intelligence, resilience, ownership, and consistent follow-through. This role requires working closely with Regional Business Directors and cross-functional partners to connect customer needs with business opportunities.
