Mirum Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company focused on rare diseases, is seeking a Therapeutic Account Manager (TAM) for its Liver portfolio. This role is responsible for delivering strong business performance and meaningful patient impact across an assigned territory, with a focus on rare cholestatic liver diseases. The TAM develops deep clinical and account expertise in Mirum's Liver portfolio and identifies high-opportunity customers, accounts, and referral networks. You will execute customized account plans that advance disease awareness, appropriate patient identification, treatment consideration, initiation, and persistence in accordance with approved indications and promotional practices. Key responsibilities include developing and executing focused territory business plans aligned with national, zone, and regional priorities; using performance data and market intelligence to identify opportunities and adjust strategy; maintaining accurate customer records and forecasts; identifying and prioritizing high-opportunity accounts across pediatric and adult hepatology and gastroenterology; creating customized account plans reflecting local patient journeys and clinical decision-making; building trusted relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, and care team members; mapping influence and decision-making within complex accounts; and coordinating compliant account actions across field partners. You will develop and maintain deep knowledge of rare cholestatic liver disease, diagnostic pathways, mechanisms of action, clinical data, product profiles, approved uses, safety information, patient support pathways, and access/reimbursement dynamics. You will communicate complex scientific information clearly and credibly, tailored to each healthcare professional's knowledge and priorities. You will engage as a clinically credible peer, asking insightful questions, listening actively, and connecting relevant evidence to customer practices. The ideal candidate is not a transactional seller but a clinically credible, insight-led partner who engages healthcare professionals as a peer, asks thoughtful questions, constructively challenges clinical inertia, and influences change across complex accounts. You will demonstrate curiosity, high emotional intelligence, resilience, ownership, and consistent follow-through while working closely with the Regional Business Director and cross-functional partners.
