Lumilens is building photonics infrastructure for AI supercomputing, focusing on faster, cooler, and more efficient computing solutions. As a Test Equipment Engineer, you will join the manufacturing team at the Singapore factory site, playing a critical role in ensuring reliable and efficient operation of test equipment.
Your responsibilities include maintaining and servicing test equipment on-site, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues promptly, and managing tester control and qualification processes. You will support GR&R (Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility) procedures to ensure measurement system accuracy and capability. The role involves maintaining spare parts inventory, performing minor repairs, and setting up and qualifying new and existing test equipment.
A key aspect of this position is implementing and monitoring Equipment SPC (Statistical Process Control) to maintain ongoing process control and quality standards. You will maintain accurate equipment records and documentation to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair—preferably in optoelectronic or photonics manufacturing. You should be familiar with tester qualification and GR&R procedures, understand equipment SPC principles and their practical application, and possess strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities are essential for collaborating with cross-functional manufacturing and engineering teams.
