Raxium, a Google-owned display technology company, is seeking a Test Engineer to lead the qualification, deployment, and support of microLED and display panel test systems. This role sits at the intersection of semiconductor manufacturing, optical testing, and production engineering. You will partner with the Test Development team to drive production-scale releases of high-speed optical and electrical test systems, verifying system performance and debugging complex hardware-software-optics interactions. You'll design and implement automated pipelines for Gauge R&R, software deployment, test operations, and production system health monitoring—leveraging Python and SQL to build data pipelines and monitoring dashboards. A key responsibility is scaling test capacity to offshore Contract Manufacturers, overseeing deployment and establishing remote fleet management protocols. You'll also professionalize hardware integration, work with external vendors on hardware builds, and create documentation to ensure consistent replication of test systems across sites. As a technical lead for rapid-response production support, you'll troubleshoot complex yield limiters and provide on-call support during critical production ramps, including nights and weekends as needed. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or specialized field (Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP); 4 years in optoelectronics test, display metrology, or semiconductor manufacturing; 4 years deploying and validating semiconductor hardware test systems; 4 years writing and debugging test system software; scripting experience in SQL or Python. Preferred: Master's or PhD in EE, CE, Physics, or related field; experience with Contract Manufacturers or remote test fleet management in high-volume manufacturing; Python and SQL for automated data pipelines and tool deployment; experience automating engineering workflows (e.g., automated R&R, one-click deployment); mentoring engineers and leading complex technical projects with ambiguity.
