Salary: USD 50,000 - 275,000 / annual
SpotOn is hiring a Territory Sales Representative to serve as a local market specialist in Charleston, SC. You'll be responsible for prospecting, building relationships with, and closing independent restaurant owners and small business operators in your assigned territory. The role involves the full sales cycle—from cold outreach through contract signature—with a focus on SpotOn's point-of-sale (POS) system, payment processing solutions, and complementary software tools.
Key responsibilities include traveling to client sites within your territory to conduct needs assessments and product demonstrations, managing a growing portfolio of accounts, hitting monthly and quarterly sales targets, and collaborating with the internal sales support team to ensure customer success. You'll leverage Salesforce to track pipeline and manage relationships, and you'll be expected to learn SpotOn's technology stack well enough to articulate value to non-technical business owners.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally with SMBs, merchants, or restaurants. You're comfortable with cold calling and territory prospecting, you're metrics-driven, and you thrive on building local relationships. You should be coachable, accountable, and excited about helping independent operators compete and grow.
Compensation is competitive: $50,000 base salary plus commission and bonus potential, with total on-target earnings ranging from $120,000–$275,000 depending on performance and location. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, RSUs, paid time off, cell/internet stipend, and tuition reimbursement up to $2,000/year. This is a full-time, W-2 position.
