Salary: USD 90,000 - 230,000 / annual

As Territory Sales Manager for the West region (Northern CA, CO, WA, OR, ID, AK), you will own the distribution strategy and business development for a defined geographical territory. This is a high-impact role where you drive revenue growth through newly appointed agencies and brokers, moving early-stage relationships to revenue-generating partnerships immediately.
Key responsibilities include: building and implementing distribution strategy for the Northwest territory; proactively closing and onboarding newly established broker relationships; exceeding production quotas through proven distribution management; developing and executing regional territory plans; conducting virtual and in-person meetings with account managers and executive leadership; managing weekly, monthly, and annual activity metrics; and serving as the point of accountability for distribution success.
You will collaborate with a passionate team in a dynamic, startup environment where your contributions directly impact company growth. The role emphasizes relationship-building with both retail and wholesale brokers, with immediate impact expected from day one.
Required qualifications: 8+ years of insurance experience in business development or production underwriting; 5+ years working in the defined territory with established retail and/or wholesale relationships; self-starter mentality with high energy and urgency; proven success in distribution with emphasis on new client growth. Desired: cyber, tech E&O, and professional lines insurance product experience; startup experience.
This role can be performed remotely, though candidates based in Northern California are preferred.
