Salary: USD 224,000 - 320,000 / annual
Qumulo is seeking a Territory Account Manager to drive enterprise software sales across Illinois and Wisconsin, with a primary focus on the Chicago and Milwaukee markets. You will manage a portfolio of commercial and enterprise accounts, develop strategic sales plans to achieve quota, and expand customer and partner relationships throughout your territory.
Key responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads through partner networking, outbound prospecting, and account development; understanding customer challenges around file data management and unstructured data storage; crafting compelling value propositions that demonstrate Qumulo's ROI; delivering presentations and product demonstrations to decision makers; navigating complex sales cycles and closing deals; and building lasting relationships with customers, channel partners, and technology partners. You will collaborate with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams, stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings, and travel throughout the territory to meet with customers and partners.
Qumulo's cloud data platform manages exabytes of demanding data, unifying files, objects, and workloads across edge, core, and cloud environments. The company serves over 1,100 customers running mission-critical workloads in AI, HPC, genomics, medical imaging, media rendering, and video surveillance.
Required qualifications: 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience (ideally in storage, data management, or SaaS); 2+ years of cloud software sales; proven quota achievement in complex enterprise or startup environments; strong understanding of enterprise IT challenges and decision-making; established relationships with enterprise customers or channel partners in Illinois and Wisconsin; excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to build relationships at all levels including C-suite; strong time management and organizational skills; self-motivation and ability to work independently; willingness to travel; and passion for technology.
