Salary: USD 125,000 - 200,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) that develops AI-driven diagnostic solutions for coronary artery disease, the leading cause of death worldwide. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, provides a non-invasive cardiac test that generates a color-coded 3D model of coronary arteries to assess blood flow impact. The product is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been deployed for over 750,000 patients globally.
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will serve as HeartFlow's primary representative within a designated geographic region, focusing on driving adoption of the company's non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. This is a field-based, customer-facing role requiring 20% or greater overnight travel depending on territory geography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development plans with key strategic HeartFlow accounts to drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathways
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, Clinical) to deploy leadership resources, organize physician education events, VIP visits, and CT pathway roadshows
- Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders to increase HeartFlow usage within assigned accounts
- Educate customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and discussions with referring MDs
- Champion HeartFlow and build physician advocacy
- Meet or exceed quota for strategic accounts and drive cCTA growth and FFR_CT penetration metrics
Required Qualifications:
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, OR 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience
- Proven sales skills and track record of sales achievement
- Account development experience; building and supporting strong clinical programs preferred
- Clinical/technical proficiency; ability to quickly grasp and disseminate new clinical/technical information
- Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders (administrators, cardiologists, referring physicians, hospital marketing, strategic personnel)
- Ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate field and HQ resources
- Customer-focused mentality with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred
