Catawiki is a curated online marketplace for buying and selling special and collectible objects. The company has sold over 25 million unique items and auctions more than 100,000 items weekly, all carefully curated by in-house experts.
As a Senior Key Account Manager within the Collectables Sales Team, you will drive commercial growth by developing and expanding a portfolio of existing sellers with strong growth potential. You will build strategic relationships, create tailored growth plans, and help sellers scale their business on the Catawiki platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking over newly onboarded sellers from Business Developers and supporting their continued growth
- Identifying existing sellers with high growth potential and developing strategies to increase their performance and revenue
- Building, negotiating, and maintaining commercial agreements that create value for both sellers and Catawiki
- Monitoring seller health and performance metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Growing and retaining a portfolio of top sellers through relationship building, targeted communication, upselling, and KPI analysis
- Collaborating with Experts to ensure the right supply reaches the platform from top sellers
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to improve seller support and proactively address growth opportunities
You will work closely with Business Developers, Experts, and internal teams in a distributed sales environment with regular team meetings, individual catch-ups, and quarterly in-person meetings in Amsterdam. The role requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Amsterdam headquarters.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills across in-person conversations, phone, email, and cross-functional collaboration
- Proven experience building and maintaining strategic relationships with high-value sellers or commercial accounts
- Strategic mindset with strong negotiation and value-based selling skills
- Autonomous and organized approach to managing accounts, priorities, and commercial opportunities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commercial, Economics, Sales-related, or relevant field, combined with sales experience
- Proficiency with data and Google Workspace tools (Google Sheets, Google Slides); HubSpot or similar sales CRM experience is a plus
- Excellent Dutch and English communication skills
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Netherlands and Belgium and to Amsterdam headquarters
