As a Telehealth Registered Dietitian, you will deliver virtual nutrition care to women with complex health conditions. Your responsibilities include analyzing patient intake assessments (medical history, dietary habits, lab results), conducting diet and lifestyle counseling via video, and providing guidance on movement, sleep, and stress management as it relates to nutrition. You will employ Allara's evidence-based training materials while adapting to individual patient needs, using motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques throughout the care continuum.
You will collaborate closely with APRNs and MDs on the medical management of shared patients, maintain accurate electronic health records, respond to patient inquiries, and handle administrative tasks in a timely manner. The role requires clinical independence, strong diagnostic judgment, and the ability to build trust and connection in a virtual setting.
Required qualifications include current Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), an active unrestricted professional license in at least one U.S. state, and proven ability to function autonomously as a clinical provider. One year of experience treating patients with complex women's health conditions is strongly desired. Prior telehealth experience is a plus. You must be comfortable with EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
Allara offers a fully remote position with flexible scheduling within full-time hour requirements. Compensation includes a base salary of $65,000 with the ability to increase up to $105,000 through an incentive compensation program. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), annual vacation and sick days, comprehensive malpractice insurance at no cost, and an annual CEU/professional development stipend. The company provides access to free monthly CEU sessions and is launching a Women's Health Certificate of Training in 2027.
