Lynx Financial Crime Tech is an AI-powered software company specializing in fraud detection and anti-money laundering (AML) solutions. The company develops advanced technologies for real-time transaction processing and behavioral pattern detection, serving global financial institutions, fintechs, and commercial enterprises.
We are seeking a Cyber Security Assurance Specialist to join our Madrid-based team. This role focuses on vulnerability management, security control validation, and risk mitigation across our technical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, validate, and track vulnerabilities and security findings from multiple sources including SDLC assessments, hardening deviations, penetration tests, and audits
- Execute periodic control reviews for firewalls, identity management, cloud infrastructure, endpoints, servers, and system hardening
- Prioritize findings based on criticality, exposure, affected assets, business context, and compensating controls
- Interpret CVSS scores, risk exposure, and residual risk to inform remediation strategies
- Manage vulnerability lifecycle: identification, validation, prioritization, assignment, tracking, retesting, and closure
- Review technical configurations, logs, reports, and evidence to assess security posture
- Communicate findings and remediation status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Track and report on security metrics using tools like Jira, ServiceNow, Excel, and Power BI
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in technical cybersecurity, operations, cyber risk, technical audits, or equivalent roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Fluent Spanish; English highly desirable
- Expertise in vulnerability management (identification through closure)
- Strong knowledge of system security, hardening, identity/access management, cloud security, and networking
- Ability to interpret criticality, exposure, CVSS, compensating controls, and residual risk
- Proficiency with Jira, ServiceNow, Excel, Power BI, or equivalent tools
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences
- Autonomous, analytical, and results-oriented mindset
Desirable Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity
- Security certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, AWS Cloud Security
- Experience with vulnerability platforms, EDR, DLP, SIEM solutions
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash)
- Practical knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 22301, SOC 2, PCI DSS
- AWS security expertise
- Software development security and CI/CD pipeline knowledge
- Container and image security experience
- AI security architecture knowledge and Model Context Protocol (MCP) familiarity
