Contabilizei is seeking a mid-level full-stack developer to join their maintenance and support engineering team. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, stability, security, and performance of production systems through root-cause investigation, efficient bug fixes, and continuous improvements.
Key responsibilities include investigating and diagnosing complex bugs in full-stack applications (Java and Node.js backends, React/Vue frontends), refactoring legacy code to reduce technical debt, and applying clean code principles and secure architecture patterns. You'll strengthen automated test coverage (unit, integration, E2E), optimize frontend performance by fixing rendering bottlenecks and responsiveness issues, and monitor production ecosystems using observability tools and APM.
The role emphasizes AI-assisted development workflows using Spec-Driven Development (SDD) to map legacy behaviors, detail technical specifications, and generate corrections efficiently. You'll analyze and optimize database performance across relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational systems, apply security best practices to identify and fix vulnerabilities, and participate actively in code reviews.
Collaboration is central: you'll work with Support, Product, and Engineering teams to prioritize maintenance demands, align technical impacts, and mentor junior developers. The position requires hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, microservices architectures, CI/CD workflows (Git, Pull Requests, GCP deployment), and advanced monitoring tools.
