Nerdio is a Series C SaaS company that simplifies IT infrastructure management for enterprises and managed service providers worldwide. The company provides market-leading Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) management tools built on Microsoft Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Microsoft Intune. With over 15,000 organizations in 50+ countries using Nerdio's platform, the company is experiencing rapid growth and seeking experienced technical communicators.
In this role, you'll join the technical documentation team as a core contributor to Nerdio's user-facing content strategy. You'll be embedded within the software development lifecycle, creating clear, accessible, and localizable documentation for complex VDI management tools. Your responsibilities include researching product features, testing functionality, writing comprehensive documentation, managing source content, coordinating localization efforts, and publishing across multiple channels.
You'll collaborate closely with product designers and engineers who are transforming legacy IT infrastructure into cloud-based solutions. The role offers opportunities to leverage modern tools and automation—you'll work with XML structured authoring platforms, AI tools, and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell) to improve documentation processes and scale content production.
This is an ideal opportunity for a mid-level technical writer with expertise in structured authoring, strong communication skills, and a passion for making complex technology accessible to IT professionals. You'll contribute to a fast-moving, collaborative team that values empathy, drive, and quality execution.
