Robinhood is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join the Brokerage team, which sits at the heart of the company's platform, powering how millions of customers invest and interact with financial products. The Brokerage TPM team is small and collaborative, working closely with senior engineers, engineering managers, product leaders, and brokerage leadership on complex technical and execution challenges. In this role, you will own and drive cross-functional engineering programs from kickoff through launch. You'll maintain clear visibility of plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple teams. Your responsibilities include coordinating with product, design, customer experience, operations, and engineering partners; writing clear narratives and status updates for leadership; identifying gaps and unblocking work to keep programs moving; and helping shape how the Brokerage TPM team plans, executes, and launches work—including exploring how AI can improve planning, dependency management, risk detection, launch readiness, and reporting. The role offers real ownership early on, with close mentorship and a clear runway for career growth. You'll have the opportunity to rethink traditional TPM workflows rather than inherit established playbooks. The team is intentional about building processes that add clarity without unnecessary overhead. This is a hybrid role based in Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; or Toronto, Canada, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. Robinhood emphasizes the value of in-person work for accelerating progress, sparking innovation, and strengthening community. QUALIFICATIONS: - 5+ years of experience in technical program management or similar role, driving complex cross-functional engineering programs - Strong grasp of system design with ability to follow and contribute to engineering conversations (no coding required) - Working familiarity with AWS and core infrastructure concepts - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including concise narratives and executive-ready updates that translate complex technical work - Strong ownership of outcomes with initiative to identify next steps, close gaps, and resolve blockers without waiting to be asked - Proven record of running programs with minimal oversight and following through on commitments until problems are resolved - Comfort stepping outside narrowly defined scope when the program needs it - Strong organizational skills with ability to create structure and clarity across complex, multi-team programs without adding unnecessary process - Curiosity and excitement about using AI as part of your work
