Peregrine Technologies is an AI-enabled platform that transforms siloed data into operational intelligence for public safety organizations, government agencies, and enterprises. The company unifies disconnected data sources, resolves entities, and grounds AI in a unified picture to surface mission-critical information for faster, better decisions. Peregrine currently serves hundreds of customers across 30+ states and two countries, reaching over 125 million people.
You will be the founding Technical Product Marketer, reporting to the VP of Product Marketing. This is a builder role with no existing technical marketing foundation—you will establish it from scratch for prospects, analysts, and sellers. Your core responsibility is owning product positioning, messaging, and competitive narrative across the platform, focusing on data unification, entity resolution, AI grounding, and integration architecture.
Key responsibilities include: developing technical positioning and messaging for core platform capabilities; demystifying the category by creating first-principles content explaining why data unification and entity resolution are genuinely hard problems; building the technical content library (whitepapers, architecture briefs, security/compliance content, AI substantiation) that marketing and sales depend on; translating competitive technical intelligence into asymmetric sales tools and teardowns against horizontal data platforms and AI point solutions; and contributing product-led narratives to high-visibility launches.
You bring 5+ years of experience spanning engineering and product marketing, with a required technical foundation (CS degree, early-career engineering role, or equivalent). You have authored positioning from scratch and built competitive teardowns that moved real deals in B2B SaaS, AI, or data infrastructure. Exceptional writing ability is essential—you can produce technical content for technical readers and translate it for non-technical audiences. You move fluidly between deep technical conversations with engineers and business outcome discussions with executives.
Success means building a defensible technical narrative against competitors, ensuring sellers reach for your content unprompted, making Peregrine's AI claims hold up under technical and security review, and influencing product-led narratives for major launches.
