Protege is building the platform to solve AI's biggest unmet need: secure, efficient access to high-quality training data. The company is backed by world-class investors and already powers partnerships with leading AI teams.
You'll be the Technical Product & Content Marketing Lead, responsible for translating Protege's complex product capabilities into clear, compelling messaging for technical buyers and the broader market. This is a hands-on role combining strategic narrative development with tactical execution across all content formats.
Key responsibilities include:
• Translate product efforts across verticals into clear positioning and public-facing collateral that explains how Protege transforms messy real-world data into usable, discoverable, high-quality training data.
• Own end-to-end launch campaigns for new products, research releases, and commercial initiatives—from strategy through external execution with proof points and field-ready materials.
• Write compelling technical thought leadership content advancing the real-world data narrative for AI development.
• Build product marketing strategy positioning Protege as the real-world data platform for all stages of AI model development.
• Create core go-to-market assets: decks, webinars, videos, case studies, talk tracks, landing pages, and launch materials that enable the sales team.
• Partner closely with Product, DataLab, vertical GMs, Sales, and Community to ensure market story aligns with delivery.
Success milestones: By 30 days, you'll understand the business model and identify narrative gaps. By 60 days, you'll own high-priority workstreams and strategic launches. By 90 days, you'll own all product/content initiatives and shape company-wide positioning.
You must be an exceptional writer who can translate complex technical concepts—AI data, ML pipelines, model performance, real-world data workflows—into clear positioning for technical audiences. You have experience managing end-to-end product or content-led launches, partnering with sales on strategic deals, and thriving in ambiguous startup environments. You're hands-on, ship strong V1s quickly, and actively drive distribution of your work. Experience with AI/ML products, foundation models, or a technical background is a plus.
