This role is based remotely but requires presence in the CST or EST time zones, with approximately 60% travel to partner locations.
You will enable technical sellers to confidently position, sell, and win Veeam solutions by delivering product and technical certification training to partners. Key responsibilities include identifying and educating partners on sales plays aligned to their business initiatives, driving awareness of Veeam solutions and differentiators, and building strong relationships with partner technical leaders and influencers to expand mindshare within accounts.
You'll foster alignment between partners and key Veeam stakeholders across the company, support field sales teams in executing partner account strategies to maximize revenue, and provide pre-sales technical assistance and subject matter expertise for partner meetings, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept as customers evaluate Veeam solutions.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent related experience. You should have pre-sales experience or proven sales acumen, with extensive experience in cyber resilience and virtualization technologies such as VMware (VCP) and/or Microsoft (MCITP or equivalent). Experience designing, building, or selling Veeam solutions is essential. You must be able to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment, adapt to evolving responsibilities and changing priorities, and be a high-energy, motivated self-starter who learns new technologies quickly.
Bonus skills include breadth across storage, networking, servers, and applications; depth in VMware virtual technologies and Microsoft Windows Server/Hyper-V; hands-on experience with Veeam or competitive solutions; strong knowledge of data protection and disaster recovery technologies; experience with channel sales and enablement; experience with databases and management platforms such as Microsoft System Center; exposure to public cloud platforms like Azure and AWS; and familiarity with scripting, orchestration, and workflow tools.
