Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Technical Partner Manager to drive partner success and serve as a technical ambassador for their cyber resilience solutions. This role bridges the gap between Veeam's product capabilities and partner organizations, enabling technical sellers to position, sell, and win deals.
Key responsibilities include enabling partner technical teams through product and solution training, identifying and educating partners on sales plays aligned with their business initiatives, and driving awareness of Veeam's differentiated offerings. You'll build relationships with partner technical leaders and influencers to expand mindshare, foster connections between partners and Veeam stakeholders across the company, and provide pre-sales support and subject matter expertise for customer meetings, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept evaluations.
You'll work independently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities while maximizing Veeam revenue through effective partner account strategy execution. The role requires up to 60% travel, primarily within Canada.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, previous pre-sales experience or demonstrated sales acumen, and extensive experience with cyber resilience and virtualization technologies (VMware VCP, Microsoft MCITP, or equivalent). Experience designing, building, or selling Veeam solutions is essential. You should be a self-starter capable of learning new technologies quickly and working independently with limited direction.
Bonus qualifications include breadth in storage, networking, servers, and applications with depth in VMware and Microsoft technologies; hands-on Veeam or competitive solution experience; strong knowledge of data protection and disaster recovery; channel sales and enablement experience; expertise in DSPM, DLP, and data discovery approaches; and familiarity with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and scripting/orchestration tools.
Veeam offers comprehensive benefits including 15-25 days paid vacation plus 4 VeeaMe Days, paid parental leave (3-12 weeks depending on role), medical/dental/vision coverage from day one, mental health support, RRSP matching, fertility support, and professional development through LinkedIn Learning and O'Reilly.
